More info in the PC Games FAQ! Some Game Trainers are sometimes reported to be a Virus or Trojan, the most common is a keylogger called HotKeysHook or the file has been packed/protected with VMProtect or Themida and is recognized as Win32/Packed.VMProtect or Win32/Packed.Themida.In most cases using a No-CD or Fixed EXE will solve this problem! Some original games do not work when a certain application has been installed, like DAEMON Tools. When using Fixed Files make sure to use a Firewall which controls outgoing traffic, as some games call back to report the use of these modified files!.When this happens use the original EXE to play online, else you could find yourself banned from the game! Some No-CD/Fixed EXE files work fine in Single Player mode but are detected to be modified when trying to play online.Always make a backup of the files that are overwritten by the File Archive, as the original files are usually required to update the game to a newer version or to play Online!.Bulletstorm (DVD9 to 1x DVD5) *INNO SETUP*.Keep in mind that the files listed on this page do NOT circumvent the Serial Protection!Ī valid/legal Serial is still required to be able to play this game!!! Visit FileForums VT4 signed into GFWL with no problems and the game plays fine too.Ī lot of messing around to be honest and oddly this is the only GFWL game that I've come across which I haven't been able to update and I don't think it's any coincidence that it's the only GFWL game I own on Steam either. Backed up the originals and copied the new files to the game folder.ĥ. I then compared their sizes with the originals and renamed each one to their respective filenameĤ. Extracted the contents of the Media1.cab file to a Media1 folder which consisted of around 10 or so FIDxxxxxxxxxx files of varying sizes, clearly the numerous files inside the game folder.ģ. Copied the Title Update files (Setup.exe, Media1.cab, etc.) from the AppData/Microsoft/GFWLive folder to my Download (work) folderĢ. Managed to suss it out FINALLY although I had to do it manually.ġ. I was wondering if someone with the patched Steam version would be kind enough to upload the files from the Virtua Tennis 4 folder minus the two large Resource ones as the size of this update suggests that only the VT.exe and other smaller files may have been updated. However, it doesn't work for this game and so I can't sign into Live at all (though other GfWL games sign in fine). The fix is to manually install it from the Command Prompt (in Administrator mode) using the /f option. ![]() I've even had it myself a couple of times though most title updates since to install fine. This error seems to be a common issue with many GfWL from Google-ing around.
